Dichondra repens

Ideal species for gardening, Dichondra repens is more a tapestry species than a kind of grass in a strict sens.

A plant covering with Dichondra could be more interesting and advantageous than another variety of grass in some specific projects, due to its attractiveness.

It withstands exposure to direct sunlight and develops exceptionally well in shady conditions. It prefers a warm to hot climate for its perfect development.

Besides this, it does not need fertile soils and its greatest advantage over other grass species is its low requirement for mowing.
